At Star Ridge Stables, we believe riding is about more than just time in the saddle—it's about building confidence, responsibility, and a lifelong love for horses. Located near Smithfield, Goldsboro, Garner and Clayton, NC, we offer a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere where riders of all levels feel supported and encouraged.
Founded by longtime instructor and horsewoman Stella Prescott, our program focuses on solid horsemanship, skill development, and personal growth. Whether you’re riding for fun, fitness, or competition, our experienced instructors and dependable lesson horses are here to help you reach your goals.
We welcome riders of all ages and experience levels and are proud to offer:
